Have you ever come across a great taco meat recipe? If not, then you will be happy to know that today there are many recipes for these delicious little treats that will not only please your taste buds, but also your wallet!
Different Types Of Taco
Quesads: This dish is very popular throughout Latin America. In fact, it can be easily adapted to fit a Mexican theme. You could use this dish as a basis, but rather than an onion and cheese filling, substitute the taco meat for the tortilla, and add some sour cream, green onion, avocado, sour creme, etc.
Fajitas: Use leftover tortilla chips and/or corn tortillas to create an appetizing meal. Top with salsa (try a spicy homemade salsa), shredded cheese, green onion, avocado, sour creme, sour cream and/or jalapeno peppers. For a twist on this dish, you could even put in some tortilla chips with chili powder or Cayenne. Serve with a side salad for a nice change!
Carnitas: A Mexican staple, the carnival is a combination of pork and beef that is prepared in a variety of ways. Most recipes call for pork shoulder, which makes for an extremely tender meat. Try using a ham hock, which is very leaner or even using pork ribs. This dish can be topped with cilantro, lime juice and guacamole (if desired).
Tacos de Cabeza: These are very similar to burritos and are typically served as snacks. For a fun and unique treat, try making your own tortilla chips, which you can then place inside the shell of your choice (I like ciabatta). After you have prepared the chips, place in salsa and/or sour cream and serve. with your choice of sides.
Beef Tacos: These are easy to prepare and they go well with all kinds of fillings. For a Mexican twist, try making beef tacos with jalapeno or chipotle sauce. or a chili-reduced sauce. Also, try serving them with shredded cheese and black olives, if you wish.
Carne Adobo: Another favorite of mine is the traditional Mexican dish that involves making beef and beans and then baking them in a casserole. The end result is a tasty casserole that is not too heavy on the stomach and has lots of flavor. Try making the filling first, then bake the casserole. To enhance the flavor, you could also add chili powder or ground black pepper, oregano, thyme, cumin and garlic powder, if preferred.

These are just a few of the recipes that you can try out for your tacos! With so many tasty options, you are sure to find one that will satisfy your taste buds and wallet! Just remember to have some salsa handy because the flavors can get a bit overwhelming!
Before you start off your search, though, it’s important to note that many of these recipes are only available online. If you want to prepare these dishes at home, you should either make them at home or visit a nearby restaurant for your fix!
First, decide whether you would like to serve beef tacos or chicken tacos, and how much you’d like them cooked. Once you’ve decided on that, you can begin to plan the menu. Since many restaurants now offer a variety of dishes, you’ll want to take a close look at what’s available before you make any decisions. You can get basic salads, tacos, burritos, and other popular types of sandwiches.
If you decide to make the burritos at home, you’ll want to make sure that they are cooked exactly the way you would like them. If you don’t want to mess around with tortillas, you can make a sandwich of corn tortillas, lettuce and salsa and tomato, or you can opt to use whole wheat tortillas.
Make sure that the bread is not overly greasy or stale, as this can cause problems when you’re preparing the meat. It’s best to let it cool before using it. Use any seasoned breadcrumbs that you may have leftover from cooking, which may contain herbs or seasonings.
